This website
If you join the waitlist, we store your email address and the time you signed up. We use it for one purpose: to tell you when OpenIntern is available. We don’t sell it, share it or add it to other lists.
The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising scripts. It is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests (including your IP address) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when your browser requests them.
To have your address removed, reply to the email we send you, or write to privacy@openintern.ai.
The OpenIntern software
OpenIntern runs in a server on your own computer. It has no OpenIntern account and sends no telemetry to us.
- Document content a task needs is sent to the model provider you configure (for example OpenAI or Anthropic) under your own account with them, and to any web-search or connector services you turn on. Their privacy terms apply to that data.
- Your API keys are stored by the local server on your machine with owner-only file permissions. They are not sent to us.
- Task journals and file checkpoints, which make undo work, are stored on your machine and can be turned off.
- With no-egress mode on, only a model running on your own machine can be used.
